At Midway Elementary School, academic and artistic excellence for students is the priority. A Magnet School Assistance Program Grant provides the funding to implement a premier program that includes a new fine arts integrated curriculum and the expansion of the current magnet offerings. The new facility opened in January 2010, and is now able to accommodate additional out-of-zone students interested in attending the magnet school.
